RESOLUTION NO. 1936
A ltESOLlITION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH CITY TERMITE
COMPANY ~ INC."

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLO S:
6 WHEREAS.. the City Engineer of the City of Vernon has reported
7 to the City Council. under date of March 29" 1956. relative to termite"
8 rodent. insect and other pest damage and control in municipally owned
9 structures; and
10 WHEREAS.. the City Council finds that it is: advisable to exter-
11 minate and control Baid termites.. rodents" insects and other pests:.. and to
12 repair said damage; and
13 WHEREAS.. the City Engineer has presented a contract with
14 the City Termite Company. Inc." to provide extermination services on
15 municipally owned structures at a cost of $1.192..00 and to perform certain
16 repair work at a cost of $1.250.00" and to provide five additional years of
17 maintenance service at an annual cost of $100.00" payable yearly in
18 advance;

That the Mayor be authorized to enter into a
contract with the City Termite Company. Inc." to provide extermination
services on municipally owned structures at a cost of $1" 192.00" to perform
certain repair work at a cost of $1" 250. 00. and to provide five additional
years of maintenance service at an annual cost of $100.00" payable yearly
in advance.
