RESOLUTION NO. 1941
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS NO. 197 FOR THE RESTORATION OF
STREET SURFACES WITH ASPHALT CONCRETE AND CEMENT CONCRETE
4 ON CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF VERNON ACCOUNT OF PAVEMEN
CUTS BY OR FOR UTILITIES AND PRIVATE CONTRACTORS.

6 THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS.. the pavement of various streets within the boundaries
8 of the City of Vernon has been removed or damaged when necessary to remov
9 temporary or permanent pavement in order to construct or reconstruct
10 repairs to gas lines.. telephone conduits.. electric conduits.. water lines..
11 sanitary sewers.. storm. drains.. and other underground fa.cilities and
12 structures; and
13 WHEREAS.. the City Council deems it advisable to have certain
14 repairs made; and
15 WHEREAS" Harold A. Barnett.. consulting engineer of the City
16 of Vernon. has submitted to the City Council with his letter of June 11. 1956.
17 Specifications No. 197 for the restoration of certain street surfaces with
18 asphalt concrete and cement concrete;

19 NOW# THEREFORE# BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Specifications No. 197 be. and the same
21 is hereby approved as the specifications for the restoration of street surfaces
22 with asphalt concrete and cement concrete in varioUH streets as indicated
23 in said specifications.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shan
25 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
