A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YEB.NON
3 DECLAR!NGPREV AlLING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES TO BE USE)) FOR
THE RESTORATION OF STREET SURFACES WITH ASPlIALT CONCRETE
4 AND CEMENT CONCRETE, IN THE CITY OF VERNON, IN ACCORDANCE
WITH SPECIFICATIONS NO. 197 OF SAID CITY.

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon has
8 ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing
9 rate per diem for wages for laborers# workmen and mechanic.s: employed by
10 contractors and sub-contractors.. for the doing of any work set forth in
11 Specificationa No. 197# whichspecificationa were duly adopted by the City
12 Council on June Ie" 1956 by R.esolution No. 1941" is as follows:

1 AU others. shall be paid at the prevailing wage rates paid in the
2 County of Los. Arigeles.
3 Overtime applicable to each classification s.hall be paid at the pre-
4 vailing overtime rate in the County of Los Angeles.
5 The foregoing schedule of hourly wage rates is based upOI1a working
6 day of eight (8) hours. The per diem rat.e Shall be the hourly rate
7 multiplied by the aforementioned number of hours constituting a working day .

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk ()f the City of Vernon shall
9 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
10 same shall be in fun force and effect.
11 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 19th day of June3 1956.
