RESOLUTION NO. 1953
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPOINTING ROBERT H. KING TO THE OFFICE OF SUPERINTENDENT
OF STREETS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS... the office of Superintendent of Streets of the
City of Vernon has: become vacant due to the retirement of A. W. PhiIIips
as City Engineer and Street Superintendent; and
WHEREAS.. Robert H. King is fully qualified to hold the office
of Superintendent of Streets.
NOW.. THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Robert H. King be. and he hereby
13 is appointed to the office of Superintendent of Streets of the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
15 hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
16 thereafter the same shan be in full force and effect.
17 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 3rd day of JulYI 1956.
