6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
RESOLUTION NO. 1954
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE FURNISffiNG OF ONE NEW FERGUSON MOTOR TRACTO
AND ACCESSORIES.. MODEL TO...3.5 COMPLETE" IN ACCORDANCE WITH
SPECIFICATIONS NO. 193 APPROVED BY RESOLUTION NO. 1925 OF THE
CITY OF VERNON.
7 WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Vernon did heretofore
8 enter into a contract with Gilmore & Wilcox for the furnishing of one new
9 Ferguson Motor Tractor and accessories.. Model TO-35 complete; and
10 WHEREAS~ Harold A. Barnett.. Consulting Engin~er of the City
11 of Vernon has reported to the City Council under date of July 2~ 1956~ that
12 said tractor has been received and is in accordance with specifications here-
13 tofore approved by Resolution No. 1925 of the City of Vernon;
14 NOW" THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:

That the furnishing of one new Ferguson Motor
SECTION 1:
16 Tractor and accessories. Model TO-35 complete. in accordance with contrac
17 entered into with Gilmore & Wilcox is hereby accepted as being satisfactory
18 and in accordance with specifications heretofore approved by the City
19 Council of the City of Vernon.

SECT ION 2:
There is now due Gilmore & Wilcox under said
21 contract the sum of $2.. 808. OO~ being 90o/a of the contract price.

SECTION 3.:
The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
approved and directs payment of $2.. 808. 00 to Gilmore & Wilcox upon the
adoption of this resolution and the balance of the purchase price.. to wit:
$312.00.. thirty-five (35) days after the date of adoption of this resolution.
SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City pf Vernon shaH
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
