RESOLUTION NO. 1957
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A RELEASE IN FULL OF ALL
CLAIMS OF THE CITY OF VERNON AGAINST THE FLINTKOTE CO.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS~ on or about the 1st d~y of June.. 1956.. an employee
7 and/or agent ofTb..e FUntkote Co. while operating a motor vehicle.. struck
8 a traffic signal~ the property of the City of V ernon~ causing same to be
9 damaged; and
10 WHEREAS" The FUntkote Co. has tendered a draft in the amount
11 of two hundred seven and 31/100 Dollars ($207.31) covering the cost of
12 repairing said damage;
13 NOW.. THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the Mayor be.. and he is hereby authorized
15 to execute a release in full of all claims of the City of Vernon against The .
16 Flintkote Co.. arising out of an accident occurring on or about June 1..
17 1955, which accident resulted in damage to City property~ upon payment of
18 the sum of $207. 31.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
20 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
21 same shall be in full force and effect.
22 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 7th day of August.. 1956.
