1961
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH JAMES M.
MONTGOMERY # CONSULTING ENGINEER# FOR SERVICES IN CON-
NEcTIoN WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCHEDULES OF WATER RATES
FOR THE CITY OF VERNON.
6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

8 WHEREAS.. the City requires the services of an engineer in
9 connection with the development of water rate schedules adequate to meet
10 all Water Department costs; and
11 WHEREAS.. James M. Montgomery. Consulting Engineer. has
12 presented to the City Council a contract covering such services; and
13 WHEREAS.. it is the desire of the City to employ James M.
14 Montgomery to render such services to the City;
15 NOW.. THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the Mayor be" and he is hereby
17 authorized to execute the submitted contract for and on behalf of the City
18 of Vernon with James M. Montgomery" Consulting Engineer" in connection
19 with the development of water rate schedules adequate to meet all Water
20 Department costs. including the cost of supplemental water supplied by
21 the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California~ for a sum not to
22 exceed Two Thousand Dollars ($2.. 000.00).

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 7th day of August.. 1956.
