RESOLUTION NO. 1f}75
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITRMOFFATT &.
NICROL~ INC. ~ CONSULTING ENGINEERS. FOR INVESTIGATING THE
POSSIBILITY OF WIDENING THE SOTO STREET BRIDGE IN THE CITY
OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Vernon deems it
advisable to investigate the posstbility of widening the Soto Street Bridge
over the Los Angeles River in the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS. Moffatt&.Nichol. Inc.. Consulting Engineers.
have submitted to the City Council a contract for performing engineering
servicee for said investigation;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the Mayor of the City of Vernon be.
and he is: hereby authorized to execute a contract with Moffatt &. Nichol..
Inc.. Consulting Engineers, for investigatingthe posSibility of widening
the Soto Street Bridge over the Los Angelee River in the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of thierResolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED thie 21st day of August. 1956.
