A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
FlXING THE SALARY OF THE CITY ATTORNEY AND ESTABLlSHlNG THE
COST OF OFFICE Ii' ACILITIES.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS1 the cost of operating the office of the City Attorney
has varied monthly and the City Council desires to reduce the monthly cost
to an amount certain; and
WHEREAS I Carson B. Hubbardl City AttorneYI is willing to
accept the office of City Attorney and furnish office facilities for the City
Attorney and one Assistant City Attorney for an amount certain.

NOWa THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOL VED:~
SECTION 1:
That Carson B. Hubbardl receive a. salary of
two thousand dollars ($21000.00) per month as City Attorney of the City of
Vernon. and is hereby allowed the further sum of one thousand dollars
($11000.00) per month for maintaining office facilities for the City Attorney
and one Assistant City AttorneYI both sums retroactive to August 1. 1956.
SECTION 2:
Carson B. Hubbard is to supply office
19 facilities for the City Attorney and one Assistant City AttorneYI and the
20 aforesaid salary is not to include cost of Special Counselor Associate
21 Couns'el in cases where the City Council approves such employment.

SECTION 3:
All resolutions. or parts of resolutions. in
23 conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall remain in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 18th day of September... 19.56.
