RESOLUTION: N:O. 1983
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERN:ON:
3 DIRECTING THE GIVING OF NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS
OR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CEMENT CONCRETE PAVEMENT
4 IN" S.A..NTA .FE A VENUE AT CERTAIN" INTERSECTIONS FROM 27TH
STREET TO 57TH STREET IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS NO.
5 199 AND PLAN NO. A3-1286 OF SAID CITY.
6 THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
The City Clerk of the City af Vernon is
hereby directed to. give natice inviting sealed propasals 0.1" bids for the
canstruction of cement concrete pavement in Santa Fe Avenue at certain
intersectians fram 27th Street t". 57th Street.. in accardance with Specifica-
tians No.. 199 and Plan No.. A3-1286 af said City.
SECTION 2:
There being no. newspaper af general circula-
tian printed.. published and circulated in the Cityaf Vernan, the City Clerk
is hereby directed to. past said natice.. 0.1" cause the same to. be posted.. in
three af the magt public pla.cesin. said City.. to. wit: the northwest Carner af
38th Street .and Santa Fe Avenue; the nartheast corner afLeanisBoulevard
and Pacific Baulevard.. and an the bulletin board in the labby af the City Hall
af the City af Vernan.. located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue in said City.
SECTION 3:
The first pGstingof said notice shall be not
less than ten (10) dayg befare the date af opening bids far the proposed wark.
The natice shall distinctly state the wark to. be
dane and the material to. be furnished.
SECTION 4:
The City Clerk af the City af Vernan shall
certify t a the passage af this Resalutian and thereupan and there.after the
same shall be in full farce and effect.
