6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS NO. 206 FOR THE FURNISHING AND
DELNERY TO THE CITY OF VERNON OF TWO ELECTRIC MOTOR
DRNING UNITS AND APPURTENANCES.. ONE EACH FOR WELLS
NO. 4 AND NO. 5 OF SAID CITY.
7 WHEREAS, under date of October 26, 1956, Harold A. Barnett,
8 Consulting Engineer of the City of Vernon, presented to the City Council
9 Specifications No. 206 for the furnishing and delivery of two electric motor
10 driving units and appurtenances, one each for Wells No. 4 and No. 5 of said
11 City; and
12 WHEREAS.. Harold A. Barnett recommended that said specifica-
13 tions be approved, inasmuch as the more powerful units are necessitated
14 because of the lowering ground water level;

15 NOW.. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Specifications No. 206 covering the
17 purchase of two electric motor driving units for Wells No. 4 and No. 5
18 and appurtenances. be, and the same are hereby approved.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
20 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
21 same shall be in full force and effect.
22 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 7th day of November, 1956.
