RESOLUTION NO.
1994
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 ACCEPTING THE FURNISHING OF ONE NEW 1956 CHEVROLET 1/2 TON
PICK-UP TRUCK AND ACCESSORIES: FROM CENTRAL CHEVROLET
4 COMPANY.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Vernon did hereto-
7 fore enter into a contract with Central Chevrolet Company for the furnishing
8 of one new 1956 Chevrolet 1/2 Ton Pick-up Truck and Accessories; and
9 WHEREAS.. Harold A. Barnett. Consulting Engineer of the
10 City of Vernon$ has reported to the City Council under date of November 1.
11 1956,. that said truck has been delivered to the City in proper condition and
12 satisfactory for use of the Water Department;
13 NOW.. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the furnishing of one new 1956 Chevrolet
15 1/2 Ton Pick-up Truck and Accessories, in accordance with contract
16 entered into with Central Chevrolet Company be, and the same is hereby
17 accepted as being satisfactory.

SECTION 2:
There is now due Centr~I Chevrolet Company
19 the net sum of $1.399.09. being the contract price, and the City Council
20 hereby approves and directs payment of said sum to Central Chevrolet
21 Company upon the adoption of this resolution.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 7th day of November, 1956.
