RESOLUTION NO. 1995
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCE.PTING THE FURNISlliNG OF ONE BELT-DRIVEN PORTABLE
HYPOCHLORINATOR~ TYPE HBDM~ WITH COMBINATION ELECTRIC
MOTOR AND GASOLINE ENGINE DRIVE AND APPURTENANCES FROM
WALLACE & TIERNAN.. INC.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS. .the City Council of the City of Vernon did hereto-
fore enter into a contract with Wallace & Tiernan. Inc.. for the purchase
of one belt-driven portable hypochlorinator# type HBDM. with combination
electric motor and gasoline engine drive and appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, under date of November 1. 1956, Harold A.
Barnett. Consulting Engineer of the City of Vernon. reported to the City
Council that said portable hypochlorinator has been received and is
satisfactory for the requirements of the Water Department;
NOW.. THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the furnishing of one belt-driven portable
17 hypochlorinator, type HBDM. with combination electric motor and gasoline
18 engine drive and appurtenances. in accordance with contract entered into
19 with Wallace & Tiernan. Inc. # be. and the same is hereby accepted as being
20 satisfactory and in accordance with the requirements of the Water Depart-
21 ment of the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That there is now due Wallace & Tiernan. Inc..
the sum of $559.521 and the City Council hereby approves and directs payment
of said sum to Wallace & Tiernan~ Inc. ~ upon the adoption of this resolution.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
