RESOLUTION NO. 1998
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A RELEASE
OF ALL CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES TO TRAFFIC SIGNAL OF THE CITY OF
4 VERNON.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS. on or about October 1. 1956. Elvira Rosson. et aI#
7 caused da~age to a traffic signal situated on the corne.r of Fruitland
8 Avenue and Soto Street in the City of Vernon; and
9 WHEREAS~ Harold A. Barnett. Consulting Engineer. has
10 verified the amount of damage as $154.13; and
11 WHEREAS.. Elvira Rosson. et al# has offered to tender said
12 amount as payment in full;
13 NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the Mayor of the City of Vernon is
15 hereby authorized and directed to execute a release of all claims in favor
16 of Elvira Rosson. et aI, and that the tender of $154.13 be accepted.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is hereby
18 directed to certify to the pas.sage of this resolution and thereupon and there-
19 after the same shall be in full force and effect.
