RESOLUTION NO. 1999
. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT FROM J. S. NICHOLSON AND
VIOLET NICHOLSON TO A PORTION OF LOT 13, JNO. R. TAYLOR'S
VERNON AVENUE VILLA LOTS~ IN THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS. J. S. Nicholson and Violet Nicholson. husband
and wife. have granted to the City of Vernon an easement in. over" along
and a.cross a strip of land being the northerly twenty-five (25) feet of the
west half of Lot 13. Jno. R. Taylor's Vernon Avenue Villa Lots" for
construction. reconstruction. maintenance and operation of a sanitary sewer
liile and appurtenances; and
WHEREAS~ said description has been checked by Harold A.
Barnett. Consulting Engineer" and he has recommended that said ease-
ment be accepted; and
WHEREAS" said easement has been approved as to form by
Carson B. Hubbard. City Attorney of the City of Vernon.
NOW. THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
The. City Council of the City of Vernon
19 hereby accepts the aforesaid Easement Grant from J. S. Nicholson and
20 Violet Nicholson. together with the property conveyed thereby, and directs
21 the recording.of said Deed with the County Recorder of Los Angeles County.

The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
