RESOLUTION NO. 2002
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING F. A. ZIEMER TO SIGN CHECKS WITH THE CITY
TREASURER WITHDRAWING FUNDS DEPOSITED BY THE CITY OF
VERNON IN ALL BANK ACCOUNTS. AND TO ENTER ANY SAFETY DEPOSI
BOX HELD IN THE NAME OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS. G. A. Anderson.. City Clerk of the City of Vernon.
is temporarily unable. because of illness. to perform the duties of his
office; and
WHEREAS.. F. A. Ziemer is Chief Deputy City Clerk of the
City of Vernon.
NOW. THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That F. A. Ziemer. Chief Deputy City Clerk.
is hereby authorized to sign checks with the City Treasurer to withdraw
funds for the City of Vernon from its accounts deposited in any Bank. upon
checks of the City of Vernon. and the bank is hereby authorized to honor
and pay any and all checks so signed. including those drawn to the individual
order of any officer or person authorized to sign the same and to endorse
for cash or deposit checks and drafts payable to the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2:
That F. A. Ziemer. Chief Deputy City Clerk.
is hereby authorized to enter any safety deposit box with the City Treasurer
held in the name of the City of Vernon.
SECTION 3:
The authority hereby given F. A. Ziemer.
Chief Deputy City Clerk. supplements prior authorizations.
SECTION 4:
The City Clerk shall certify to the pa.ssage
of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full
force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 20th day of November. 1956.
