RESOLUTION NO. a005
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 ACCEPTING A RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT FROM JOHN DEERE
KILLEFER COMPANY, A CORPORATION.. TO A PORTION OF LOT
4 FIFTY -ONE (51) OF THE FIVE HUNDRED ACRE TRACT OF THE LOS
ANGELES FRUITLAND ASSOCIATION IN THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, John Deere Killefer Company~ a corporation.
has granted to the City of Vernon an easement upon. under~ over~ along
and across a strip of land being a portion of Lot Fifty-one (51) of the Five
Hundred Acre Tract of the Los Angeles Fruitland Association, for con-
structing. using. maintaining. altering, adding to. repairing. replacing.
and! or removing an electric line.. consisting of cross-arms, wires and
other fixture.s and appliances. for conveying electric energy; and
WHEREAS. said Easement has been checked and approved by
Carl A. Heinze, Consulting Electrical Engineer. and approved as to form
by Carson B. Hubbard. City Attorney of the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS. it is recommended that said Easement be accepted
by the City of Vernon;
NOW, THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Ve.rnon does
21 hereby accept the aforesaid Easement Grant from John Deere KiUefer
22 Company. together with the property conveyed thereby. and directs the
23 execution thereof by the Mayor and City Clerk and the recording of said
24 Easement .with the County Recorder of Los Angeles County. California.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 4th day of December. 1956.
