RESOLUTION NO. 2014
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 ACCEPTING A DEED FROM GEORGE A. LOOMIS AND CAROLYN P.
LOOMIS TO A PORTION OF SAN ANTONIO RANCHO.. FOR STREET
4 PURPOSES.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS. George A. Loomis and Carolyn P. Loomis.
7 husband and wife. have granted to the City of Vernon a parcel of land being
8 a portion of San Antonio Rancho. as shown on map recorded in Book 1.
9 page 389 of Patents. in the office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County.
10 as more fully described in said Deed. for street purposes; and
11 WHEREAS. said description has been checked by the Engineering
12 Department of the City of Vernon. and said deed has been approved as to
13 form by Carson B. Hubbard, City Attorney. and it is recommended that
14 said Deed be accepted;
15 NOW. THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:

The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
SECT ION 1:
17 acceptsthe aforesaid Deed from George A. Loomis and Carolyn P. Loomis.
18 together with the property conveyed thereby. and directs the recording of
19 said Deed with the County Recorder of Los Angeles County. California.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
21 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
22 I saine shall be in full force and effect.
23 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 2nd day of January. 1957.
