RESOLUTION NO. 2017
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF WORK PERFORMED BY TIRE
CITY TERMITE COMPANY ON PROPERTIES OF THE VERNON WATER
DEPARTMENT.. INCLUDING THE AUTO REPAIR GARAGE AND TEN (10)
ATTACHED GARAGES. AND THIRTEEN (13) MUNICIPAL HOUSES AND
THREE SEPARATE ONE-CAR GARAGES.
THE CITY COUNCIL O:FTHE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS. under date of July 31. 1956. the City of Vernon
entered into an agreement with the City Termite Company to perform cer-
tain structural pest control work on properties of the Water Department.
including the auto repair garage and ten (10) attached garages# and thirteen
(13) municipal houses and three separate one-car garages. in accordance
with Specifications dated November 9. 1955 and amended December 21.
1955; and
WHEREAS.. Harold A. Barnett. Consulting Engineer of the
City of Vernon has reported to the City Council under date of December 21~
1956# that said work has been performed in accordance with said
Specifications # and recommends that said work be accepted;
NOW.. THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the work of the City Termite Company
on properties of the City Water Department. including the auto repair
garage and ten (10) attached garages. and thirteen (13) municipal houses
including three separate one-car garages be. and the same is hereby
accepted.
SECTION 2:
That the sum of $1.192.00 for extermination
services. and the sum of $1.250.00 for structural repairs shall each be
paid to the City Termite Company thirty (30) days after the adoption of this
Resolution. in accordance with the terms of the Agreement.
SECT ION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall

1 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
2 same shall be in full force and effect.
3 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 2nd day of January. 1957.
