RESOLUTION NO. 2018
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 ACCEPTING THE INSTALLATION OF AN 8 INCH SANITARY SEWER
MAIN IN SIERRA PINE AVENUE FROM 26TH STREET TO BANDINI
4 BOULEVARD (A PRIVATE STREET) IN THE CITY OF VERNON,. IN
ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS NO. 201 OF SAID CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS.. under date of December 27. 1956, Harold A.
Barnett. Consulting Engineer of the City of Vernon. reported to the City
Council that all work called for in Specifications No. 201 and Engineering
Department Plan No. A1-1405. together with Addendum No.1. for the
improvement of Sierra Pine Avenue from 26th Street. to Bandini Boulevard
(a private street) by the construction of an 8 inch sanitary sewer main has
been completed. and recommends that. such work be accepted by the City
of .vernon; and
WHEREAS. said work was constructed by George Miller for
the interested property owners under the inspection of the Vernon
Engineering Department;
NOW.. THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the improvement of Sierra Pine Avenue
from 26th Street to Bandini Boulevard (a private street) by the construction
of an 8 inch sanitary sewer main be. and the same is hereby accepted as
being completed in accordance with Specifications No. 201.
SECTION 2:
That the City Clerk notify Mr. Charles H.
King. on behalf of all property owners. of the acceptance of said sanitary
sewer.. and appurtenances located therein. by the City of Vernon.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
