RESOLUTION NO. 2033
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS NO. 210 FOR THE FURNISHING OF
ONE 1750 GALLON PER MINUTE TRIPLE COMBINATION PUMPER
4 FOR USE OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS~ under date of March 12~ 1957~ L. C. Husted~
8 Chief of the Fire Department of the City of Vernon~ submitted to the City
9 CounciL Specifications No. 210 for the furnishing of one 1750 Gallon Per
10 Minute Triple Combination Pumper~ and recommends approval thereof;
11 NOW.. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That Specifications No. 210 for the fur-
13 nishing of one 1750 Gallon Per Minute Triple Combination Pumper for use
14 of the Fire Department be~ and the same is hereby approved.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon sha.ll
16 certifyto the pa.ssage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
17 same shall be in full force and effect.
18 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 19th day of March~ 1957.

NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS OR
BIDS FOR THE FURNISHING OF ONE 1750
GAL.LON PER MINUTE TRIPLE COMBINATION
PUMPER IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICA-
TIONS NO. 210 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
6 Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Vernon#
7 California.. at the City Clerk1s office of said City at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue,
8 Vernon 58# California, until 2:00 P. M. on April 2, 1957, for furnishing
9 one 1750 Gallon Per Minute Triple Combination Pumper. The proposals
10 will be publicly opened and read in the Council Chambers of the City Hall
11 located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, Vernon.. California# on the date and at
12 the time above mentioned. Specifications and contract documents may be
13 obtained at the above mentioned office of the City Clerk, upon payment of
14 a deposit of ten ($10.00) dollars for each specification.
15 The equipment to be furnished under this specification is as
16 follows:
17 One 1750 Gallon Per Minute Triple Combination Pumper.
18 Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's
19 check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the estimated
20 aggregate amount of the bid as a guaranty that the bidder, if an award is
21 made him in accordance with the terms of his proposal# will promptly
22 execute a contract in the required form. and furnish a satisfactory bond
23 for the faithful performance of the contract.
24 The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.. to waive
25 any informality in any bid, and to make awards .as the interests of the City

corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; at the northeast corner of Leonis
Bouleva.rd and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin board in the)obbyof
the City Hall of the City of Vernon, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, in said
City, there being no newspaper of general circulation printed and published
in the City of Vernon.
