RESOLUTION NO. 2038
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH
THE ATCHISON~ TOPEKA AND SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS6 it is necessary to construct a 6" industrial
water service for The Atchison6 Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company
on the north side of 26th Street approximately twelve feet west of the
. easterly boundary of the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS. half of the meter box is in 26th Street and the
northerly half is on property of The Atchison. Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company; and
WHEREAS 6 The Atchison6 Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company has submitted a license agreement for approval and execution
by the City for construction of said meter box. as set forth in letter of
Harold A. Barnett. Consulting Engineer6 to the City Council dated March
156 1957;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute a license agreement between The Atchison6 Topeka
and Santa Fe Railway Company. on behalf of the City of Vernon6 for
installation of a meter box according to Division Engineer's Drawing No.
L...3-22096 attached to said License Agreement.
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 19th day of March. 1957.
