RESOLUTION NO. 2043
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE FURNISHING AND INSTALLATION OF MOTOR CONTROL
EQUIPMENT AT PUMP HOUSE NO. 2 IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICA-
TIONS NO. 204 HERETOFORE APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, under date of December 4, 1956, William R.
8 Sherwin, doing business as Sherwin Electric Service, was awarded the
10 appurtenances at Pump House No. 2 in accordance with SpecificationsNo.
9 contract for the furnishing and installation of motor control equipment and
11 204 of said City; and
12 WHEREAS, Harold A. Barnett, Consulting Engineer, has re-
13 ported to the City Council under date of April 9, 1957, that the equipment
14 has been rece.ived and installed in a satisfactory manner ,and recommends
15 that it be accepted;
16 NOW, THEREFORE" BE IT RESOL YED:

SECTION 1:
That the furnishing and installation of motor
18 control equipment at Pump House No.2 by William R. Sherwin, doing busines
19 as Sherwin Electric Service, be, and the same is hereby accepted as being
20 satisfactory and in accordance with Specifications No. 204 heretofore approve
21 by the City Council;

SECTION 2:
There is now due William R. Sherwin.. doing
23 business as Sherwin Electric Service, the sum of $19,062.00, being 9.00;0 of
24 the contract price, and the balance of $2,118.00 shall be paid after 3.5 days.

SECTION 3:
The City Council hereby directs payment of
$19,062.00 to William R. Sherwin, doing business as Sherwin Electric
Service, upon the adoption of this resolution and the balance, to wit:
$2,118..00, thirty-five (35) days after the date of the adoption of this
resolution.
