DIRECTIN"G THEGNING OF NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS
3 OR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT
RESURFACING tN 26TH STREET FROM 800 FEET EAST OF SOTOSTREET
4 TO DOWNEY ROAD~ IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS NO. 212
OF SAID CITY.

THE CrrY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is here-
8 by directed to give notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for the construe-
9 tion of asphalt concrete pavement resurfacing in 26th Street from. 800 feet
10 East of Soto Street to Downey Road~ in accordance with Specifications No.
11 212 approved by Resolution No. 2055, and the Notice Inviting Sealed Pro-
12 poSals contained in said Specifications No. 212.

SECTION 2:
There being no newspaper of general circuia-
14 tion printed~ published and circulated in the City of Vernon, the City Clerk
15 is hereby directed to post said notice, or cause the same to he posted, in
16 three of th.e most public places in said City~ to wit: the northwest corner of
17 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast corner of Leonis Boulevard
18 and Pacific Boulevard, and on the bulletin board in the lobby of the City
19 Hall of the City of Vernon, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue in said City.

S:ECTION 3:
The first posting of said notice shall "be not
21 I less than ten (10) days before the date of opening bids for the proposed work.
22 I The notice shall distinctly state the work to
23 be done and the material to be furnished.

SE.CTION 4:
The City Clerk of tiLe City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 7th day of May, 1957.
