A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
CORRECTING A CLERICAL ERROR IN THE NUMBERING OF A CERTAIN
ORDINANCE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS. due to a clerical mistake two ordinances were
7 passed by the City Council of the City of Vernon bearing the same number
8 designation;
9 NOW$ THEREFORE$ BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the ordinance .entitled "An Ordinance of
11 the City of Vernon Regulating the Presenting. Auditing and Payment of
12 Demands Against said City, and Repealing all Ordinances and Parts of
13 Ordinances and aU Resolutions in Conflict Herewith" and mistakenly
14 designated Ordinance No. 698 be, and the same is hereby designated
15 Ordinance No. 700.

SECTION 2:
The CityClerk of theCityof Vernon shall
17 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
18 same shall be in full force and effect.
19 ADOPTED and APPROVE.D this 21st day of May, 1957.
