RESOLUTION NO. 2068'
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS NO. 213 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT RESURFACING IN SANTA FE AVENUE
FROM PACIFIC BOULEVARD TO THE SOUTH CITY BOUNDARY # AND
DETERMINING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES .AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS. under date of July 11, 1957sHaroldA. Barnett..
Consulting Engineer of the City of V ernonspresented to the City. Council
Specifications No. 2.13 for the construction of asphalt concrete payement
res:urfacing in Santa Fe Avenue from Pacific Boulevard to the south City
Boundary; and
WHEREAS. said Harold A. Barnett recommends that said
specifications be approved.
NOW ,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
.sECTION 1:
That SpecificationsN o. 213 be.. and the
same are hereby approved.. for the construction of asphalt c.oncrete pave-
ment resurfacing in Santa Fe Avenue from Pacific Boulevard to the south
City Boundary of said City.
SECTION 2:
The CityCounciLof the City of Vernon has
ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing rate
per diem for wages for Iaborerss workmenandmechanlcs employed by con-
tractors and suh....contractorss for the doing of any work set fodhin Specifica
tions No. 213 are those wage rateschedule.scontained in said Specifications
No. 213.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerkof the City Of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
