A RESOLUTION OF THE. CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
DIRECTING THE GIVING OF NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS
OR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT
RESURFACING IN SANTA FE AVENUE FROM PACIFIC BOULEY ARD TO
THE SOUTH CITY BOUNDARY. IN THE CITY OF VERNON. IN ACCORD-
ANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS NO. 213 OF SAID.CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:

The City Clerk of the City.of Vernon is
hereby .directed to give notice inviting sealed proposalg or bids for the
construct!onof asphalt concrete pavement resurfacing in Santa Fe Aventre
from Pac.ificBoulevard to the South CityBounda~,in the City of Vernon.
in accordance withS.pecifications No. 213 approved by Resolution No. 2068,
and the Notice InvitingSealed Proposalg contained in said Specifications
No. 213.
SECTION 2:
A) .
There being no newspaper of generalcir-
culation printeds published and circulated in the City of Vernon.. the City
Clerk is hereby directed to post said notice.. or cause the same to be posted,
in three of the mogt public places in said Citys to wit: the northwest corner
of3ath StI'eet and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast corner of Leonig Boulevard
and Pacific Boulevards and on the bulletin board in the 10bby.oftheCity
Hall of the City of Vernon,; located at 4305 Santa Fe AvenUe in s.aid City.
SECTION 3:
The first posting of said notice shall be not
less than ten (10) days before the date of opening bidg for the proposed
work.
The notice shall distinctly state the workto
be done and the material to be furnished.
SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Regolution and thereupon and thereafter
