RESOLUTION NO. 2083
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 DIRECTING THE GIVING OF NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS
OR BIDS FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY TO THE CITY OF
4 VERNON OF ONE PORTABLE AIR COMPRESSOR AND ACCESSORIES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS NO. 215 OF SAID CITY.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS. FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
The City Glerk of the City of Vernon is hereby
8 directed to give notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for the furnishing
9 and delivery to the City of VerITonof one portable air compressor and
10 accessories in accordance with Specifications No. 215 of said City,
11 approved by Resolution No.2082s and the Notic.e Inviting Sealed Proposals
12 contained in said Specifications No. 215.

SECTION 2:
There being no newspaper of general circula-
14 tion printeds published and circulated in the City of Vernon, the City Clerk
15 is hereby directed to post said notices or cause the same to beposteds in
16 three (3) of the most public places in said Citys to wit: The northwest
17 corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast corner of Leonis
18 Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard. and on the bulletin board in the lobby of
19 the City Hall of the Gityof Vernon, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue in said
20 City.

SECTION 3:
The first posting<,)f said notice shall be not less
22, than ten (10) days before the date of opening bids for the proposed equipment.
23 The notice shall distinctly state the equipment to be furnished.

SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify 1:0 the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
