RESOLUTION NO. 2085
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF ONE. THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1000.00)
TO MR. .THOMAS F. SMITH AS BALANCE DUE UNDER SPECIFICATIONS
NO. .1870F SAID CITY.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES RESOLVE AS. FOLL S:
6 WHEREAS, under date of May 21. 1957 the City Council accepted
7 the construction of addition and alterations to Vernon City Hall under
8 Specifications No. 187s but withheld payment to Mr. .Thomas F. Smith of
9 the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($.1s000. 00) until certain repairs were
10 made; and
11 WHEREASs under date of September 5s 1957sMr. Breo Freemans
12 Architect. has reported to the City Council that Mr. Smith has satisfactorily
13 completed the necessary work;

14 NOW, THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the City Treasurer bes and he is hereby

16 authorized to pay the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($ls 000.00) to Mr.
17 Thomas F. Smith, being the balance due him for work performed under
18 Specifications No. 187 of said City.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passa.ge of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
