RESOLUTION NO. 2088
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 REQUESTING THE STATE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION TO PERMIT THE
AUDITORS OF THE CITY OF VERNON TO INSPECT THE SALES ANP USE
4 TAX RECORDS OF SAm BOARD PERTAINING TO SALES AND USE TAXES
COLLECTED FOR THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREASs the 1957 Legislature Amended Section 7056 of the
Revenue and Taxation Code to permit the inspection 01 sales and use tax
records of the State Board of Equalization bya City, as such records
pertain to the City; and
WHEREASs the City Council finds it desirable that Has.kins.&
Sells, Auditors of the City of Vernon, inspect such records.
NOW. .THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the State Board of Equalization is
hereby requested and. authorized to allow inspection of its Sales and Use Tax
records by Haskins. & Sells, Auditors of the City of Vernon, as such records
pertain to the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2:
That Haskins.& Sells, Auditorss have been
and are employed hy the Tax Collector of the City of Vernon, a Municipal
Corporation, for said purpose.
saeTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City. of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereup.on and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 1st day. of Octobers 1957.
