RESOLUTION NO. 2091
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH MASON~ MUNTZ
&. ASSOCIATESIFOR THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND GENERAL ADMINISTRATION AND SUPERVISION FOR THE RE-
CONSTRUCTION AND PLACING CERTAIN STEEL BRACES OR SUPPORTS
AT PUMP HOUSE NO. 1~ CITY HALL GROUNDS..
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS~ under date of August 19, 1957 the Engineering
Department of the City of Vernon recommended to the City Council the
reconstruction of the east end of Pump House No. I, City Hall Grounds~
and the placing of certain steel braces or supports ; and
WHEREAS,Mason~ Muntz & Associat~s, certified architects
and engineers", have submitted a contract to the City Council for performing
architectural and engineering services for said reconstruction.
NOW.. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the Mayor of the City of Vernon be~
and he is hereby authorized toe~ecute a contract with Mason~ Muntz &
Associates, certified arclrltectsand engineers, for the reconstruction of
the east end of Pump House No. I, and the placingdof steel braces or
supports therein.
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 1st day of October, 1957.
