RESOLUTION NO. 2093
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH MASON.. . MUNTZ
&. ASSOCIATES FOR THE PREPARATION OF PLANS". SPECIFICATIONS
AND GENERAL SUPERVISION AND ADMINISTRATION OF CONSTRUCTION
WORK FOR FOUR NEW THREE-BEDROOM HOUSES ON FRUITLAND
AVENUE~ AT PUMPING PUNT NO.3, AND ONE NEW THREE-;BEDROOM
HOUSE AND RELOCATION OF EXISTING TWO-BEDROOM HOUSE ON
VERNON AVENUE". AT PUMPING pLANT NO.2, IN THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE. CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, under date of August 19~ 1957 the Engineering
,Department of the COityof Vernon recommended to the City Council that
five three-bedroom houses be built and that one .two-bedroom house he
relocated; and
WHEREAS, Mason~ Muntz &. Associates~ certified architects
and engineers, have submitted a contract to the City Council for performing
architectural and engineering s.ervices for . said construction;
NOW" THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the Mayor of the City of Vernon be~
and he is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Mason~ Muntz. &.
Associates.. certified architects and engineers, for the preparation of plans~
specifications and general supervision and administration of construction
work for four new three-bedroom houses on Fruitland Avenue.. at Pumping
Plant No.3.. and one .new three-bedroom house and relocation of existing
two-bedroom house on Vernon Avenue, at Pumping Plant No.2.
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
