RESOLUTION NO. 2096
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGEl ;res AND
4 THE CITY OF VERNON FOR PURCHASE OF TAX DELINQUENT LAND
FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR STREET PURpOSES.

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, the statutes provide for the purchase of land deeded
8 to the State of California for delinquent taxes; and
9 WHEREASs the property. described in the propos.ed Agreement
10 dated October 15, 1957 between the Board of Supervisors of the County of
11 Los Angeles and the City of Vernon is located within the City of Vernon.

SECTION 1:
That the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to executes for and on behalf of the City of Vernon
that certain Agreement dated October 15, 1957 between the Board of Super-
visors. of the County of Los Angeles and the City of Vernon;Jor the purchase
of land in the City of Vernon conveyed to the State of California because of
delinquent taxe s.
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shan be in full fQrceand effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 15th day of October, 1957.
