6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS. FQLLOWS:
.A RE$OLUTIONOF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK AND THE CI'I'Y ATTORNEY TO
INVESTIGATE THE FINANCING OF THE GENERATING AND/OR
DISTRIBUTION FACILITIE$ FOR SUPPLYING THE CITY WITH ELECTR.IC
ENERGY.
7 WHEREAS.. the City Council of th.e City of Vernon deems it
8 advisable to investigate the feaSibility of constructing facilities for the
9 generationof~ and! or distribution of, electrical energy in the City of
10 Vernon; and
11 WHEREAS.,. the. construction of said facilities will necesaitate
12 theconstruc.tionof generating and lor distributfonfacilities;
13 NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RE$OLVED:

That the City Attorney and the City Clerk
SECTION 1:
are hereby authorized to consult with bond underwriters and bond counsel
to determine the most feasible and economical method of financing the
construction of the necessary means of supplying the City of Vernon with
electrical energy.
SECTION 2:
.
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
