TO PREPARE PRELIMINARY PLANS AND ESTIMATES FOR THECON--

DISTRIBUTING ELECTRICAL ENERGy IN THE CITY OF VERN.oN.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERN.oNRESOLVES AS FOLLOwS:
WHEREASs the City. Council of the City of VernOn Cleems: it
advisable to investigate :the pos:sibilitiesof s:upplying and! or distributing
electrical energy in. the City of Yernon by the construction of generating
and.! or distrihutionfacilities; . and
WHE.REASI" Carl A. Heinze, Consulting Electrical Engineer,
is fully qualified and capable of determining the needs: of the City with
respect to supplying and distributing electrical energy to the City of Vernon;
NOW. .THEREFORE.. BE. IT RESQLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Carl A. Heinze, Cons:ulting~lectricaI
16 EngineeI$ besand he is hereby authorized to prepare preliminary plans. and
17 estimates for the construction of necessary facilities for s:upplyingand.!or
18 distributing electrical energy.in the City of Vernon in the most practical
19 and economical manner and to inves:tigate and negotiate other sources of
20 supply.
