R.E;SOLUTION NO. 2102
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 Dm.ECTING F.A. ZIEMER AND/OR L.R. BURCH ANDIORG.(~.S.KAL$KX
DEPUTY TAX COLLECTORS OF T:B:E CITY OF VERNON. TO EXAMINE
4 THE SALES AND USE TAX RECORDS OF THE STATE BOARD OF
EQUALIZATION PERTAINING TO SALES AND USE TAXES COLLECTED FOR
5 THE CITY OF VERNON.
6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, the .1957 Legislature Amended Section 705.6 Of the
8 Revenue and Taxation Code to permit the inspection uof sales and use tax
9 records of the State Board of Equalization by a City, as such records pertain
10 to said City; and
11 WHEREAS" the City Council finds it desirable that Deputy Tax
12 Collectors of said City inspect such records; and
13 WHEREAS, F.A. Ziemer, L. R. Burchand.G. G.Skalsky
14 are deputy tax collectors employed by the City Qf Vernon, a municipal
15 corporation.
16 NOW, THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That F. A.Ziemerandl 01'1.. R.Burch
18 and/or G. G. Skalsky~ deputy tax collectors of the City of Vernon, be, and
19 they,are hereby directed to inspect the records of the State Board of
20 Equalization pertaining to sales and use taxes collected by s.aid Board for
21 the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City. of Vernon
23 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter
24 the same shall be in full force and effect.
25 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 5.th day of November, 195.7.
