A RESQLUTlON' OF THE CITY COUNCIL .OF THE CITY OF VERNQN
ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF MASON"JrnNTZ &. ASSOCIATES TO
PERFORM CERTAJ,N" ENGINEE.RING SERVICES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RE$OL VESAS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, under date of October 14. 1957, the Los Angeles
8 County Flood Control District requested the City of Vernon to prepare
9 and present to ita preliminary report of existing .storm drain deficiencies
10 in the . City; and
11 WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Vernon deems it
12 advisable and necessary to have such a report made; and
13 WHEREAS, under date of October 31.. 1957.. the .firm ofMason~
14 Muntz&. Associates, Architects and Engine.ers, submitted an offer to the
15 CityCounciLto perform said services for the sum of Six Thous.and Six
16 Hundred Dollars ($6, 600. 00);
17 N'OW" THEREFORE,Il BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the firm of Mason, Muntz &. Associates,
19 Architects and Engineers~ are hereby. employed to perform engineering
20 services and to prepare the necessary reports, . as requesteq by the .Los
21 Angeles County Flood. Control District, in accordance with and under the
22 terms of its letter of October 31, 1957.

24 certify to the passage .of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
25 same shall be infuIl force and effect..
