RESOLUTION NO. 2.107
A R.l!:SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF 1'HE CITY OF nlUiON
ACCEPTING THE FURNlSHlNG. OF A PORTABLE AIR COMPRESSOR IN
ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS NO. 215 OF SAID CITY.
THE CI1'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON R.l!:SOLVE$ AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, on October 15, 1957.Smith Booth Usher Company
was awarded the contract for the fu~shing and delivery of a portable air
compressor in accordance with Specifications No. 215; and
WHEREAS, Mason, Muntz.& Associates, Consulting Engineers
of the City of Vernon, have reported to the City Councll under date of
November 8, 1957 that said equipment has been satisfactorUyd.elivered in
accordance with the contract and specification~, and recommends that the
equipment be accepted;
~OW, THER;E:FORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the furnishing and delive ry of a portable
air compressor be, and the same is hereby a.ccepted as being satisfactory
and in accordance 'With Specifications No. 215 heretofore approved by the
City of VernoR.
SECTION 2:
That there is now due Smith. Booth Usher
Company th.e S.Uffi of .$3, 807. 00, being HOD/dof the contract price, and the
balance, or 10% of the contract price, being the sum of $423.00 shall be paid
after thirty-five days.
SECTION 3;
The City Council of th..e City of Vernon hereby
directs payment of'3, 807. 00 to Smith Booth Usher Company upon th..e adop'"
tion of this resolution and th..e balance, or $423. 00, thirty-five (35) days
after the date of the adoption of thi.s resolution.
SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of th.e City of VernonshaU
certify to the passage .of this .Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
