2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
DIRECTING TBEGIVING OF NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS
3 OR BlllS FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY TO THE CITY OFVElilNON
OF ONE BOOM TYPE MOBILE CRANE AND ACCESSORIES IN ACCORDANCE
4 WITH SPECIFICATIONS NO. 218 OF SAID CITY.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is hereby
7 directed to give notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for the furni,shing
8 and delivery to the City of Vernon of one boom type mobile crane and acces-
9 sories in accordance with Specifications No. 218 of said City, approved by
10 Resolution No. 2108, and the Notice Inviting Sealed Proposals contained in
11 said Specifications No. 218.

SECTION 2 :
There being no newspaper of general circula..
13 tion printed, published and circulated in the City of Vernon, the City Clerk
14 is hereby directed to post said notice, or cause the same to be posted, in
15 three {3J of the most public places in said City, to wit: The northwest corner
16 of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast corner of Leonis Boulevard
17 and Pacific Boulevard, and on the bulletin board in the lobby of the City Hall
18 of the City of Vernon, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue in said City.

SECTION 3:
The first posting of said notice shall be not
20 less than ten (10) days before the date of opening bids for the proposed
21 equipment. The notice shall distinctly state the equipment to be furnished.

SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APP.IWVED this 19th day of November, 1957.
