A USOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YERNON
APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS NO. 219 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT :aE.SURFACINGlN WASHINGTON
BOULEVAItD WEST OF .DOWNEY ROAD~ IN TREClTY OF VERNON. AND
DETERMINING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER. DlEM WAGES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOL~S AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS~ under date 'Of November 26~ 1957, M8.IiOn~ Muntz &
Associates~ Consulting Engineers of the City of Vernon" presented t.o the .City
Council Specifications N.o. 219 for the constructi.on of asphalt concrete pave-
ment resurfacing in Washington B.oulevard west .of Downey Road; and
WHEREAS" said Consulting Engineers re.commend that said
specificati.ons.be approved; and
WH:E:aE.AS" th.e City.C.ouncil of the City of yern.on has investigated
the general prevailing rate of per diem wages t.o be paid f.or the w.ork done
under said Specifications No. 21.9;
NOW. THERE:FO.u" BE IT RESOLYED:
SECTION 1:
That Specifications No. 219 be, and the same
are here.byappr.oved for the construction .of asphalt concrete pavement re-
surfacing in Washingt.on B.oulevard west .of Downey Road, in said City.
SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon has
ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing rate
per die!ll fur wages f.or laborers" w.orkmen and mechanics employed by
contractors and sub-c.ontractors, f.or the doing of any work set forth in
Specificatiuns No. 2.19 are those wage rate schedules contained in said
Specifications NO. 219.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City .of Vernon sh~ certify
to the passage of this Res.olution and thereupon and thereafter the .sam.e sb.al1
be in full force and. effect.
