RESOLUTION NO. 2136
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS .NO.217 AND pLANS NOS. B-15 -1459
CONSISTING OF FIVE (5) SHEETS AND B-15-1460 CONSISTING OF THREE
(3) SHEETS.. FOR THE REHABILITATION OF THE CITY HALL, :FIRE
STATION AND PUMP PLANT 111 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.. .AND
DETE.RMININGTHE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES.
THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, under date of February 13,1958, J.S. Colton, Building
Engineer.. submitted to the City Council his recommendation that Specifica-
tions No.. 217 and Plans Nos. B-15-1459 consisting o.f five (5) sheets and
B-15-1460 consisting o.f three (3) sheets.. .as prepared by.ason~ Muntz &
Associates.. be approved for the rehabilitatio.n of the City &.11, Fire Station
and Pump Plant 111 in the City of Vernon; and
WHEB.EAS.. the City Council of the City of Vernon has investigated
the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for the work done
under said Specifications No. 217;
NOW.. THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Specifications No. 217 and Plans Nos.
B-15-1459 consisting of five (5) sheets and :8-15-1460 consisting of three (3)
sheets be~and the same are hereby approved for the rehabilitation of the
City Hall.. Fire Station and Pump Plant'1 of the City of Yernon.
SECTION 2:
The City Council of the CityofYernon has
ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing rate
per diem for wages for lab:orers.. workmen and mechanics employed by
contractors and sub-contractors.. for the doing of any work set forth in
Specifications: No. 217 are those wage rate schedules: contalned.insaid
Specifications No. 217.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this: Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
