RESOLUTION NO. 2139
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YERNON
ACCEPTING THE IMPROYEMENT OF BANDINI BOl.ILEYARD FR.OM THE
YERNON CITY BOUNDARY 102 FEET EAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF
DOWNEY ROAD TO THE WEST LINE OF THE BUREAU OF POWER AND
LIGHT RIGHT-OF-WAY 996 FEET EASTERLY~ .IN ACCORDANCE WITH
SPECIFICATIONS NO. 190 AND ENGINEERING DRAWING NO. A3-119B
OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
8 WHEREAS.. Mason.. Muntz &. Assooiates.. Consulting Engineers
9 of the City of Yernon.. havereporled to the City C ouncH under date of
10 February 19.. 1958, that the improvement of Bandini Boulevard from the
11 Vernon City Boundary 102 feet east of the center line of Downey Road to the
12 West line of the Bureau of Power and Light right-of-way 996 feet easterly has
13 been completed in a satisfactory manner; and
14 WHEREAS.. said Consulting Engineers recommend that the work
15 he accepted.. and that the Garrett Freightlines, Inc. be advised of the
16 acceptance;
17 NOW~ THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the improvement of Bandini Boulevard
19 from the Vernon City .Boundary }02 feet east of the center line of Downey
20 Road to the west line of the BureaU of Power and Light right-of....way 996 feet
21 easterly.. bea.nd the same is hereby accepted as having been completed ina
22 satisfactory manner under private contract by Garrett Freightlines.. Inc... in
23 accordance with Specifications No. 190 and Engineeringprawing No. AS-1196
24 of the CUyof. Vernon.

SECTION 2:
The City.Clerk of the City. of Vernon is hereby
directed to notify the Garrett Freightlines.. Inc... of the acceptance of said
work.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
