RESOLUTION NO. 2141
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING PRELlMDiARY DRAWINGS TO WIDEN THE 26TH STREET
BRIDGE. AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF TWELYE HUNDRED DOLLARS
TO MOFFATT & NICHOL. INC... CONSULTING ENGINEERS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS.:
7 WHEREAS... a contract has been executed with Moffatt & Nichol...
8 Inc.... ConsultingJsngineers... to prepare design. plans and specifications
9 to widen the 26th. Street Bridge in the City of Yernon;and
10 WHEREAS... said contract provides for the payment of Twelve
11 Hundred Dollars ($1200.00) to Moffatt &: Nichol... Inc.... upon the approval
12 of the preliminary drawings; and
13 WHEREi\S... under date of February 27... 1958.. Ma.son... Muntz &:
14 Associates. Consulting Engineers... report to the City Council that said
15 preliminary drawings should be accepted... and that payment should be made
16 in accordan.ce with the contract;
17 NOW. THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That preliminary drawings prepared by
19 Moffatt &: Nichol... Inc. ~ Consulting Engineers... for the design... plans and
20 specifications to widen the 26th Street Bridge are hereby approved... and
21 payment of the sum of Twelve Hundred Dollars ($12QO. .00) to Moffatt &.
22 Nichol... .Inc.... in accordance with the contract heretofore entered into.. is
23 hereby approved and the City Clerk is directed to make said payment.

SECTION 2:
The City .Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force andeffed.
