RESOLUTION NO. 2143
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VE:Ji1'{ON
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LlCE.NSE AGREEMENT WITH
THE FLINTKOTE COMPANY TO COVER CONSTRUCTION OF A 12.-:INCH
CAST IRON WATER LINE ACROSS 52ND STREET. IN ACCORDANCE
WITH ENGINEERING nEPARTMENT DRAWING NO. A4-1480.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS" The Flintkote Company has requested permission to
install a 12 -inch diameter cast iron water line across 52nd Street at a point
approximately 500 feet east of Alameda Street; and
WHEREAS" in case of a private pipeline crossing a public street
or aIley" the City requests a License Agreement for such construction; and
WHEREAS" Mason. .Muntz & Associates. ConsultingEngineer-s..
have pre.sented to the City Council" under date of February 28~1958"a
License Agreement between the City of Vernon and The FlintkoteCompany..
and recommends that said License Agreement be executed;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT .RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the Mayor and the City Clerk be. and
they are hereby authorized to enter into a License Agreement with The
Flintkote Company for the construction across 52ndStreet of a 12 -inch
cast iron water line." in accordance with said License Agreement and En-
gineeringOepartment Drawing No.A4-1480.
.SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effed.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 18th day ,of March" 1958.
