R.ESOLUTION NO. 2145
A R.ESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING ONE BOOM TYPE MOBILE CRANE AND ACCESSORIES
FROM SMITH BOOTH USHER COMPANY~ IN ACCORDANCE WITH
SPECIFICATIONS NO. 218 HE.RETOFORE APPROVED BY THE CITY OF
VERNON.

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS.. on December 17.. 1957. Smith Booth Usher Company
8 was awarded the contract for the furnishing and delivery of a boom type
9 mobile crane and accessories in accordance with Specifications No. 218 of

said City; and
11 WHEREAS. Mason. Muntz & Associates, Consulting Engineers..
12 reported to the City Council under date of March 12. 1958. that said mobUe

crane has been delivered to the City ,of Vernon in a satisfactory manner.
14 and recommends that said equipment be accepted and payments made in
15 accordance with the terms of the contract;
16 NOW ,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That one boom type mobile crane and accessories
be. and the same are hereby accepted as being satisfactory and in accor-
dance with Specifications No. 218 heretofore approved by the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2:
That there is now due Smith Booth Usher
Company the sum of $12. 780. .00. being 90% of the contract price. and the
balance of 10% of the contract price. being the sum of $1.420.00. shall be
paid after thirty~five days.
SECTION 3:
The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
directs payment of $.12.78.0. .00 to Smith Booth Usher Company upon the
adoption of this resolution and the balance, or $1. 42.0. 00. thirty-ftve(35)
days after the date of the adoption of this ,resolution.
SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the

1 same shall be in full force and effect.
