A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
REJECTING ALLBtDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TRANSJ4I$S.10N
MAIN AND RATE OF FLOW CONTROL PIPING .FOROBTAINING WATER
FROM METROPOLITAN WATER. DISTRICT OF SoUTHE.R.N CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON REBOL YES As. FOLLOW$:
WHEREAS# under date of April 1# 1958. sealed bids were
opened for the construction of transmission main and rate of flow control
piping for obtaining water from Metropolitan Water District of S.outhern
California;
N()W.. THEREFORE... BE IT RESOLVEJ):
SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon fincls
12 that the best interest of the City of Vernon will be served by rejecting all
13 bids.

SECTION 2:
That the City Council of the City of Vernon
15 does hereby reject all bids for the construction of transmission main and
16 rate offlow control piping for obtaining water from Metropolitan Water
17 District of Southern California on Specifications No. 209.

SECTION 3:
That the City Clerk is hereby instructed and
19 directed to return all checks: to all hidders.

SECTION 4:
The City Clerk. of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this' Resolution and thereupon and. thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
