SECT ION 1:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon .is
hereby directed to give notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for the
construction of transmission main and rate-of -flow contro! piping.. in
accordance with Specifications No. 209 of said City.. approved by Resolution
No. 2131.. and the Notice Inviting S.ealed Proposals contained in said
Specifications No. 209.
SECTION 2:
There being no newspaper of genera.l circu1a-
tion printed.. publlshedand circulated in the City of Vern.Qn.. the City Clerk is
hereby directed to post said notice.. or cause the same to be posted... iIi three
(3) of the most public places in said City.. to wit: The northwest corner of
38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast corner of Leonis Boulevard
and Pacific Boulevards and on the bulletin board in the lobby of the City Ha.l1
of the City of Vernon.. located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue in said City.
SECTION 3:
The first posting of said notice shall be not
less than. ten (10) daya before the date of opening bids for the proposed
construction. The notice shall distinctly state the work to be done.
SECTION 4:
The City . Clerk of the City of Vernonsha.ll
certify to the passage of this .Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same ahal1.be in fu11 forc.e and. effect.
