3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
HONORIN"O CARSON B. HUBBARD UPON HIS RETIREMENT AS CITY
4 ATTORNEY OF THE CITY OF VERNON.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS# Carson B. Hubbard has been an officer of the
8 City of Vernon since November 13.. 1923; and
9 WHEREAS# en June 21.. 1949 said Carson.B. Hubbard was
10 appointed City Attorney of said City and has continuously held that office
11 to the date of his retirement on April 30.. 1958; and
12 WII.EJl.EAS# the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes.to
13 extend its sincere a.ppreciationfor the excellent work so capably and
14 unselfishly given to the City Government of said City# always in the best
15 interests of the Citya:nd the inhabitants thereof; and
16 WHEREAS# the City Council of the City of Vernon desires to
17 place upon its official records a resolution of appreciation for the devoted
18 and faithful .service rendered by Carson B. Hubbard# as City Judge and 80S
19 City Attorney of said City.
20 NOW. THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:

That we.. the City Council of the City of Vernon
SECTION 1:
22 cause thbl resolution to be spread upon its minutes and direct that a. copy
23 thereof be delivered to Carson B. Hubbard.

The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
SECTION 2:
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereup~ and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
