A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON

PORTION .OF JEWEL AVENUE IN THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS~ Swift & Cempany has granted te the City .of Vernenan
easement feu' the constructien and eperatien of a .sewer line in. under. along
and acress ap.ortien .of Jewel Avenue (a private street).. in the City .0:( Vernon.
more particularly described as:
Parcel I: That portion .of the Ranche San Antenie. in the
City .of Vernon.. C.ounty .of L.os Angeles. State.of California.
described as foll.ows:
Beginning at the intersectien .of the Nertherly line .of Vernon
Avenue with the Westerly line .of the right .of way c.onveyed t.o the
SanPedre & Salt Lake Railway C.ompany by deed rec.orded in

ment dated March 31, 1958, whereby Swift & Company grants a
right of way and easement to the City of Vernon to construct
and operate a sewer line in the portion of Jewel Avenue (Pvt.
St.) owned by Swift & Company. The legal description in this
proposed agreement has been checked by the Engineering Depart-
ment and this document has been reviewed by ~~. VincentR.
Poxon, City Attorney. The conditions listed could be more
favorable; however further delay to initiate this project is
not recommended. The document is submitted for your acceptance.
It is recommended that this right of way and easement
be accepted.
