SISTING OF FIVE (5) SHEETS. FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
VERNON -ALCOA ;RELIEF SEWER IN THE CITY OF VERNON. .A1O)
DETERMINING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAqg~
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
8 WHEREAS" under date of May 28.. 1958" the Engineering
9 Department of the City of Vernon submitted to the CityCounciISpecifica.-
10 tions: No. 220 and Engineer!s Plans for the construction of the Vernon -
11 Alcoa Relief Sewer and recommended approval thereof; and
12 WHEREAS.. the City Council of the City of Vernon has inVestigated
13 the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for the work done
14 under S:aicl.Spe.cif'ications No. 220;
15 NOWa THEREFORE. 13E IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That Specif'ication$ No. 220 and Engineer!s
17 Plans NO.8. A1-1471 c()nsisting of three (3) sheets and A1-1472 consisting
18 of five (5) sheets: be.. and the same are hereby approved for the cOn-
19 structionof the Vernon - Alcoa Relief Sewer in.the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon has
21' asce-rtainedand does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing
22 rate per diem for wages for laborers.. workmen and mechanics employed
23 by contractors and sub-contractors" for the doing of any work set forth in
24 SpecificaUona No. 220 are those wage rate schedules contained in s:aid
25 Specifications No. 220.

SECTION 3:
The CityClerlLof the (XtTof Vernon shall
certify to the passage <<;>f this Resrolution and thereupon and thereafter the
s:ameshall be in full force and effect.
